COVID vaccination clinic at SRES: SRES will hold a clinic on January 13th from 1-3pm and on February 3rd for 5-11 year old children whose family gives permission to have them vaccinated. The Vermont Department of Health is organizing and running the clinic. Students who are registered can simply get out of class, walk down to our gym, get their vaccine and return to class; it’s that easy. It is important to know that fully vaccinated students/adults do not have to quarantine if they are identified as a close contact and do not have symptoms. Please see below for more information from the VT Department of Health:

Registration for the clinic:

  • Families wishing to register their child should go to the following link https://vermont.force.com/events/s/selfregistration. If the child has been tested for COVID-19 through the health department, they should already have a registration profile on this site. If they don’t have a registration profile, families will need to create one. Parents who have an account should link their children as dependents by going to their own account rather than creating a separate registration with each child. This will negate the need for a separate, personal email per child.

  • Parents who have no internet access can call to register their child at the following number: 855-722-7878. Trained operators will go through the registration questions with them.

  • All families should be sent the two following items: Prevaccination Checklist for COVID-19 Vaccines Information for Healthcare Professionals (cdc.gov) and the fact sheet attached above. The pre-vaccination questionnaire needs to be filled out and returned to the school for each student. The vaccinators need these to review before administering the vaccine. The fact sheet is information for the family so parents have the chance to read about the vaccination their child will receive.

  • Informational forums on pediatric vaccines are available through the American Academy of Pediatrics for Vermont (AAPVT.) These are accessible at the following website for parents who wish to learn more.
